Celebrates Third Consecutive Year of Record Growth
SANTA CLARA, CA–January 30, 2008–Azuro,
Inc., a leading provider of advanced clock implementation tools for
nanometer chip design, today announced that it has completed its third
consecutive year of record growth. Increases in revenue resulted from
worldwide customer expansion in Europe, Japan, and India and several
major multi-year renewals in North America. Production tapeouts using
the company's flagship PowerCentric™ clock implementation solution
nearly tripled.
“Our continuous steady revenue growth and
the ongoing global adoption of PowerCentric confirms the growing need
that SoC designers have for a new clock implementation solution at
nanometer geometries,” said Paul Cunningham, co-founder and CEO of
Azuro. “Customers are confident in our ability to deliver design
differentiation, which helps them win sockets and increase gross
margins in today’s competitive market. We remain committed to
delivering new and unique optimization technology to ensure our
customers’ success.”
To support customer growth in 2007 Azuro
opened direct sales and support offices in Austin, Texas; Bangalore,
India; Dallas, Texas; and Tokyo, Japan. PowerCentric was also recently
adopted by STARC (Semiconductor Technology Academic Research Center) in
Japan for its Ultra Low Power STARCAD-CEL V1.5 reference methodology.
About PowerCentric
Azuro's PowerCentric is a complete replacement for CTS and post-CTS
optimization. Unlike traditional CTS solutions, PowerCentric's unique
multi-objective algorithm directly considers power, congestion, and
timing across multiple modes and corners during the clock tree
buffering process. By combining this multi-objective algorithm with
advanced logic path timing and placement optimization methods,
PowerCentric is able to deliver ultra-low power clock structures
without impacting design speed or area, even for the most complex SoC
designs.
